If the tomes drop for me, I use them on my characters. Normal tomes go to my main char (who already has all elites, and now wants all normal skills in the game), and elite go to my Monk, who may one day aim for Legendary Skill Hunter.
I wouldn't buy Elite Tomes though - I'm too much of a cheapskate for that. |

yea bought lots of elite tomes
in time when i was going for Elite Tyrian Skill hunter i was like: "omfg nog again Snake Dance, i have been there so much cuz of those random spawns, hell no" so yea i spent about 70k on elite tomes for my Elite Tyrian Skill hunter for my ele prolly spend another 70k soon cuz i'm going for Canthan now |

Tomes are an invention for the rich and the lazy. I wouldnt buy them, its way more fun to cap them off a boss.
